The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Hartke
William J. Hartke, age 61, of St. Henry, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born April 7, 1954 in Coldwater to the late Richard Hartke & Velma (Meier) Hartke, who survives in Coldwater. He was married Kathy (Ahrens) on December 15, 1979, and she survives in St. Henry.
He is also survived by four children, Erica & Chris Kuhn of Westerville, Jamie & Ben Dues of Portland, Indiana, Alan & Holly Hartke of St. Henry and Ryan Hartke of Indianapolis, Indiana, six grandchildren, Lauren, Rylie, Max, Sam, Zaden and Hunter, brothers and sisters, Ken & Mary Hartke of Versailles, Dave & Diana Hartke of Coldwater, Anne & Don Pottkotter of Celina, Ron & Susan Hartke of Dayton, Kathy & Gene Grieshop of Versailles, Jim Hartke of Celina, Cyndi & Gary Carr of Celina, Sam & Sandy Hartke of Maria Stein and Mary Jane & Kevin Koesters of St. Henry, parents-in-law, Ervin & Verlina Ahrens of Maria Stein, in-laws, Rick & Rox Ahrens of Maria Stein, Ken & Sue Ahrens of Coldwater and Don & Alice Ahrens of Coldwater and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa and Laura, and a brother, Herb Hartke.
He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the NRA, was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed woodworking, but what he enjoyed most was his family. He worked for R & R Fabrications in St. Henry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Monday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be made to the Mercer County Cancer Association or Briarwood Village. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
