The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Shockney
Robert L. Shockney, age 74, of Coldwater, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. 
He was born August 14, 1940 in Bakers Corner, Ohio to the late Ralph & Sarah (Paul) Shockney. He married Kathleen A. (Meehan) on December 29, 1978, and she survives in Coldwater.
He is also survived by four children, Tim & Chris Cool of Miamisburg, John Shockney of Elyria, Tami & Kelly Bowlby of Celina and Tony Shockney of Versailles, seven grandchildren, a brother, Richard & Kay Shockney of Dayton and a sister-in-law, Sue & Charlie Meyer of Versailles. 
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed history, gardening and fishing. He worked at the former New Idea, Coldwater and Cheryl Ann Programs, Celina.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be made to the Mercer County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
