The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rita Caywood-Baker
Rita E. Caywood-Baker, 65, of St. Marys, OH died Monday September 14, 2015 at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta, OH.
She was born May 13, 1950 in Celina, OH to Paul and Fairy (Hinton) Walker. On April 10, 1984, she married James Earl Baker, who died April 23, 2008.
Survivors include: son Robert (Lillian) Caywood of Celina, OH; son Matthew Caywood of St. Marys, OH; step-daughter Kim (Chris) Cron of Celina, OH; step-daughter Lori (Rev. Mike) Baker of Wapakoneta, OH; step-daughter Becky (John) Thomas of Twinsburg, OH; 13 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren; sister Janice (Leroy) Goodwin of St. Marys, OH; brother Paul (Linda) Walker of Coldwater, MI; sister Betty Walker of Richmond, KY; brother Glen (Becky) Walker of Wapakoneta, OH; sister Lois (Dick) Swallow of Wapakoneta, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Paul and Fairy Walker; first husband John Caywood; second husband James Earl Baker.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1968). She was employed as a production employee for Copeland Corp. in Sidney, OH for a number of years.
She attended Grace United Methodist Church in St. Marys. Her favorite pastimes included playing bingo, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
Rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Friday September 18, 2015 at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street Chapel) in St. Marys. The Rev. Christopher Riffle will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.
Visitation will be 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home on High Street.
