The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ralph Stachler
Ralph Raymond Stachler, age 71, of Celina, died Monday, April 11, 2016 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born October 5, 1944 in Celina, to the late Gregory Stachler & Betty Heckman (Wint). On January 18, 1965, he married Karen Elaine (Deitsch) and she passed away December 12, 1996.
He is survived by three children, Carrie & Tregory Pierce, Terry & Sue Stachler, and Dustin & Danielle Younker, all of Celina; five grandchildren Daniel Wigger, Amanda, Darick & Corey Stachler and Layla Younker; brothers, Carl & Rosemary Stachler of Wendelin and Elmer & Sue Stachler of Celina; and in-laws, Bob & Louise Bueter of Wendelin, Jerry Deitsch of Celina, Glenna Mae Deitsch of Celina and Kathy & Bud Barker of North Carolina.
He is preceded in death by siblings, Maurice Stachler, Carol Ann Stachler and Mary Jane Bueter.
He worked for R & L Security, Wabash Garage and Mersman Furniture. He was a Rockford patrolman and owned & operated Stachler's Garage.
Ralph loved his grandchildren, pedal tractor pulls, plowing competitions, farming and antique tractors. He was a longtime member of the Mercer County Sheriff's Department Reserves and past president of the Fall Harvest Festival.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater with Rev. Mark Wakeland, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Rockford.
Friends may call from noon until 3 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests casual dress.
