The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Kenneth Clune
Kenneth R. Clune, age 73, of Minster, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born May 7, 1943 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Carl & Bernadine (Seger) Clune. On November 28, 1964, in St. Henry, he married Mary (Rinderle), who survives in Minster.
He is also survived by five children, Brian Clune & friend Barbara Drees of Minster, Stephanie & Greg Elking of New Bremen, Joshua & Julie Clune of Minster, Adam & Jennifer Clune of Oakwood, and Erin & Nathan Fedders of Grandview Heights, nine grandchildren, Alyson, Spencer and Carter Elking, Jayden, Brooke, Ian, Quinn, Noah and Caroline Clune, six brothers and sisters, Robert & Janice Clune of New Bremen, Roseanne & Carl Broerman of Ft. Loramie, Charlie & Julie Clune of Minster, Connie & Jim Barhorst of St. Marys, Pat & JoAnn Clune of Unionville, Indiana and Carl Jr. 'CJ' & Paula Clune of Minster and a brother-in-law, Mark Bensman of Troy.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Bensman.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church, Minster, Minster Knights of Columbus, Minster Eagles FOE 1391, Minster American Legion, Minster Athletic Boosters, and was active in community sports. He had run in 8 marathons.
He was retired, after 42 years, from Minster Machine, where he worked in the pattern shop and was a veteran of the Army National Guard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, with Fr. Rick Nieberding, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
