The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Helen Braun
Helen M. Braun, Age 92, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born February 15, 1924, in St Henry to the late Albert & Eleanor (Kothman) Vondrell. On June 26, 1946, she married Marvin Braun, who currently resides at Briarwood Village.
In addition to her husband Helen is survived by three sons: Gary (Rebecca) Braun of Kenton, Joe (Mary) Braun and Charles (Pat) Braun all of Coldwater; two daughters: Kathy Braun of Coldwater and Connie (Tim) McGrady of Burleson, Texas; nine grandchildren: Greg (Cameo) Braun, Luke (Lyndsey) Braun, Mindy (Carl) Serr, Jerry (Tony) Buschur, Amy Meyer, Adam (Suzanne) Braun, Candice Braun, Aaron McGrady, Shauna (Jimmy) Wilson; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Don Stammen, Don (Ginny) Braun; sisters-in-law: Rosella Braun, Eileen Braun and Alberta Braun, Linda Braun, Ruth Ann Vondrell and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Remaklus, Ruth Liening, Ginny Stammen, and a brother, Don Vondrell.
Helen was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Rosary Sodality, St. Cecelia Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Coldwater Eagles Auxiliary, and a graduate of St Henry High School.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed family get-togethers, cook-outs, playing cards, and she really looked forward to going to Rice Lake with Marvin and their friends on their many fishing trips to Canada. She was also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 pm Tuesday and 9 to 10 am Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
