The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Thomas Moeller
Thomas F. Moeller, age 88, of Briarwood Village in Coldwater, formerly of the Lake Loramie area, passed away of natural causes after suffering a sudden illness late Wednesday evening, January 18, 2017, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.
He was born July 15, 1928, at New Weston, Ohio, to the late Daniel and Henrietta (Stammen) Moeller. On July 23, 1949, at St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star, Thomas married Mary (Dorsten) Moeller who preceded him in death on August 17, 2015.
Surviving are four daughters: Diana Moeller of Owensboro, KY, Judy & Keith Lear of Bradford, Angela & Ron Young of Sidney and Joyce & Dennis Aselage of Fort Loramie; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; four siblings: Mary Lou Eilerman and Joan Eilerman both of North Star, James & Esther Moeller of Springfield and Susan & Leroy Unrast of Willcox, AZ; sisters & brothers-in-law, Eileen Steinbrunner of Marion, IN and Walter & Carol Dorsten of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Moeller; one great-great-grandson; three brothers: Andrew & Viola, Jerome & Armella, Algar & Velma Moeller and brothers & sisters-in-law: Bernard Eilerman, Alfred Eilerman, Roger & Pat Dorsten, and Harold Steinbrunner.
Mr. Moeller retired in 2003. He had been owner and operator of the former Tom's Body Shop in Fort Loramie for 37 years.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and the Lake Loramie Improvement Association. He had also been a past member of the Fort Loramie Fire Department, the Fort Loramie Racing Club and the Newport Sportsman's Club.
Tom enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had also been a long time Blue Bird Trail volunteer.
A Memorial Mass will be 10:30 AM, Monday, January 23, 2017, at St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Interment of cremains will immediately follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday 2:00 to 6:00 PM and Monday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to the Fort Loramie Rescue Squad or Fort Loramie Fire Department.
