The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Kathleen Borges
Kathleen R. Borges age 63 of Minster, Ohio died at 5:27 PM on February 11, 2017 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster, Ohio.
She was born on March 2, 1953 to the late Leo & Jeanette (Koverman) Borges. Her mother survives in Minster. She is also survived by brother, Steve & Judy Borges, Minster, sisters Diana & John Bender, Ft. Loramie, Ann Meyer, New Bremen, and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Leo, brother Tim Borges and sister-in-law Mary Borges.
Kathy was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Minster Eagles F.O.E. #1391, the Minster American Legion Auxiliary and worked at Crown for over 35 years.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster.
Friends may call at the church from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM on Thursday, February 16.
