The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ricky Feierstein
Ricky L. Feierstein, age 65, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
Born March 16, 1951 in Portland, Indiana, he was a son of the late Robert & Shirley Hawkman Feierstein. He married Rosemary Braun on May 28, 1970, and she survives, along with their daughters: Tracy Harner (Nick Lore) of St. Marys, Danielle (Mike) Anderson of Lima, and Kristi Feierstein of Richmond, VA.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and five brothers & sisters: Howard (Rhoda) Feierstein, Roxanne (Michael) Gould, Robin (Marla) Knight, Reed Feierstein and Scott Feierstein, all of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by a Brother, Russell Feierstein, an Aunt & Uncle, Ina & Joe Fetters, and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Rick had been employed as a maintenance worker at area facilities, including Pet Milk and New Idea in Coldwater, Dairy Farmers of America in New Bremen, Cooper Farms in St. Henry, and JES Foods in Celina.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Rick served in the United States at the end of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Coldwater American Legion Post #470, AmVets, The NRA, and Celina Moose Lodge #1473.
Spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren was Rick's favorite pastime. He also enjoyed camping and working on old cars.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 27, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina. Rev. Mark Wakeland will officiate. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, with Military Rites to be conducted by the Coldwater Legion.
Calling Hours are 1:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, and one hour prior to services on Monday, at the Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to assist Homeless Veterans.
