The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Michelle Armstrong
Michelle J. "Shelli" Armstrong, 39, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died April 13, 2017, at the State of the Heart Care Center, Greenville, Ohio.
She was born June 3, 1977, in Coldwater, OH, to Curt & Sandi Armstrong who survive in Greensburg, IN.
Also surviving are her siblings, Shane (Kendra) Armstrong of Fort Mitchell, KY, Carla (Jessie) Vaca of Chicago, IL, and Cathi Armstrong of Morristown, TN; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Isabelle, Layne, Gabriel, Macy & Elijah.
She was a 1995 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, and received a bachelors degree in education from the Cincinnati Christian University, Cincinnati, Ohio. She also received a public school education certification from Indiana University Southeast, New Albany, IN.
Shelli's love to help others led her to work for many years in various children's ministries. She was currently employed at Fort Recovery Insurance, Fort Recovery.
Services are 10:30 am Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at First Church of Christ, 1049 Union City Road, Fort Recovery, Kermit Riehle and David Nicholson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenmound Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3:00 pm-8:00 pm Monday at the church and 9:30 am-10:30 am Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be directed to the Vacation Bible School program at the First Church of Christ, Fort Recovery or the Mercer County Cancer Association.
