The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Michael Menchhofer
Michael T. Menchhofer, age 53, of rural Celina, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Born August 20, 1963 in Celina, he was the son of the late Albert Irvin & Mary L. (Regedanz) Menchhofer.
He is survived by his four children: Anne (Sam) Ly of Celina, Kami Wilson of Brentwood, TN, Kyle Menchhofer of Ft. Wayne, and Kale Menchhofer of Celina, and five grandchildren: Ethan, Carter & Myah Ly and Charli & Tavian Wilson. Also surviving are seven brothers & sisters: Warren (Roseann) Menchhofer and Linda Long of Celina; Jim (Cheri) Menchhofer of Coldwater; Beth (Dick) Bricker, Dora (Steve) McAfee and Tim (Diane) Menchhofer, all of Celina; and John Menchhofer of Coldwater, as well as many nieces & nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Patrice "Patty" Kessler Menchhofer, an infant brother, David and a sister-in-law, Kathy Menchhofer.
A 1981 graduate of Celina High School, Mike earned an Associate's Degree from Wright State University-Lake Campus in 1983, and had worked as a service technician. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Coldwater.
Calling Hours are from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon on Tuesday, July 25, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, followed by a Memorial Service beginning at Noon, with Pastor Robin Owen officiating. A private committal service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Washington Township.
