The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Judy Schroer
Judy K. Schroer, 73, of St. Marys, went into the loving arms of our Lord on July 26, 2017, while at her residence, after an extended illness.
She was born July 20, 1944 in Mercer County, Ohio to Edwin and Wanda (Brown) Shively, both which preceded her in death. She married Wayne E. Schroer on August 4, 1989, and he survives at the residence in St. Marys.
Other survivors include two sons, Scott R. (Michelle L.) Evans, St. Marys, and Nicholas L. (Karen M.) Evans, St. Marys; a stepson, Allen W. (Connie) Schroer, New Knoxville; two sisters, Deborah (Lee) Price, St. Marys, and Candy (Mike) Kuck, St. Marys; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Rick) Halsen, Washington State, and Stephanie Evans, St. Marys, and one step grandson, Zane Schroer, New Knoxville; two step granddaughters, Kimberly (Brian) Below, Wapakoneta, Angie (Brett Wiford) Haehn, Columbus; and six step great grandchildren, Shelby, Riley, Bailey, and Koby Below, all of Wapakoneta, Will and Brynn Wiford, both of Columbus.
Judy was a 1962 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She retired as a Realtor working for Cisco Realty, St. Marys, and most recently, Kuck Realty, St. Marys as a receptionist.
She was a member of Samaria Missionary Baptist Church, St. Marys and a frequent visitor of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys.
Judy loved her cats and hummingbirds along with her flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. It is said that some people touch our lives only briefly......while others leave a lasting impression and are never forgotten. This was Judy. Her love of life and contagious smile left a lasting impression on all whom met her and she will be greatly missed.
Visitation hour will begin 2:00-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 30, 2017, in Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Monday morning in the funeral home with Pastor Jack Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, Ohio.
