The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marlene Aselage
Marlene T. (Wynn) Aselage, age 59 of Minster, passed away of natural causes Wednesday evening, September 13, 2017, at the State of the Heart Hospice Care unit in Greenville, Ohio.
She was born July 4, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Homer Wynn and Irene (Dione) Wynn of Greenville. On September 14, 2012, at Fenner's Lake in Fort Loramie, Marlene married Dale E. Aselage who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Ryan Midlam & Krissy Stine of Arcanum and a step son, Shane Reed of Greenville; grandchildren, Jordan Midlam, Luke Midlam and Vanesa Stine; siblings: Joy Mead of California, Linda & Dick Corbett of Hamilton, Mike & Kim Wynn of Kentucky and Kevin & Cheryl Wynn of Greenville; her mother-in-law, Ruth Aselage of Minster; sisters & brothers-in-law: Diana & Ed Westerheide of Fort Loramie, Dave & Rose Marie Aselage of Fort Loramie, Doris & Dale Armstrong of Russia, Donna & Roger Weidner of Sidney, Deb Byers of Minster, Dorothy & Neal Schafer of Russia, Doug & Debbie Aselage of Texas and Dennis & Joyce Aselage of Minster as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Louis Aselage and a brother-in-law, Donald Aselage.
Mrs. Aselage worked in the dress shop at the Agape Thrift Store in St. Marys. Marlene was devoted to her family, friends and grandchildren. In her leisure she enjoyed gardening, camping, boating and collecting antiques.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 18, 2017, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie. Interment of cremains will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
