Rockford firefighters respond to the scene of an accident on Tuesday morning in which a 2016 Volvo semitrailer operated by Caprice C. Wray, 24, Redford Township, Michigan, tipped over along Palmer Road in Union Township. Wray was northbound when she reportedly failed to maintain control of her rig and the vehicle drifted off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole, according to a Mercer County Sheriff's Office report. Wray reportedly suffered possible injuries and was taken by a Rockford squad to Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert for treatment. The semitrailer reportedly sustained disabling damage to the front and passenger side. Wray reportedly was wearing a seatbelt. Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected to be factors in the accident.
