The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality. Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories. It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes. Officials discuss research, projects on Grand Lake

County health officials have battled over eyesore site for years
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP - A major Mercer County eyesore is nearly cleaned up.
The roughly 5-acre site of Dumpsterman Container on Staeger Road is being cleaned to bare ground, and noticeable progress had already been made on Friday toward clearing away piles of trash.
ST. HENRY - An 11-game St. Henry winning streak began and ended against Celina.
It started with a 67-34 victory over the Bulldogs on Dec. 29 in the Coldwater Holiday Tournament and ended with a 74-69 loss Saturday night at the Redskin Gymnasium.
Marion Local led state-ranked Fort Loramie at halftime but were shut out in the third quarter. That allowed the Redskins to rally for a 47-35 boys basketball win on Saturday night in Shelby County, snapping Marion's seven-game winning streak.
