The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

David Schoen
David Leo Schoen, 62, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his residence.
David was born on December 17, 1955 in Coldwater, Ohio, the son of the late Arnold and Rose (Heitkamp) Schoen.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Schoen; his sister, Virginia Boeckman; and brother-in-law, Harold Hemmelgarn.
David was a 1974 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. He enjoyed solving Sudoku puzzles, playing cards, watching old Western movies and talking about sports. Before retiring, David worked various construction jobs.
David is survived by his daughter, Amber Schoen of Greenville, Ohio; his step son, Eric Norman of Springfield, Ohio; his siblings, Mary (Harvey) Thornton of Portland, Indiana, Eileen (Carl) Barhorst of Fort Loramie, Ohio, Janice Hemmelgarn of Dayton,Ohio, Harold (Theresa) Schoen of Indianapolis, Indiana, Patricia (Neil) Diller of Fort Recovery, Ohio, James (Mary Ann) Schoen of Kettering, Ohio, Doris (Doug) Runyon of Sequim, Washington, Linda (Adrian) Noll of Celina, Ohio, Richard (Doris) Schoen of Palo Alto, California, Marilyn (Eric) Greenrose of Dayton, Ohio, Daniel (Peg) Schoen of Fort Recovery, Ohio; brother-in-law, Bill (Jane) Boeckman of Coldwater, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Tribute Funeral Homes in Greenville. Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Shook Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
