The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Schroer
Robert H. Schroer, age 73, of Grayslake, IL passed away, unexpectedly, in his sleep April 2, 2018.
Bob was born in 1944 in St. Marys, Ohio. His parents were Jack and Rose Agnes Schroer.
As a teenager he worked part time at a local marina. Within months of his high school graduation in 1962 he purchased the well known "Mack's Marine." Several years later he changed the name to "Lakewood Marine" after too many people insisted on calling him "Mack," While busy with the marina, he proudly found time to serve in the Ohio National Guard.
In 1974 Bob was recruited by Evinrude to fill a managerial position in its technical service department. The job entailed a move to Milwaukee. While in Milwaukee he met and married Barbara Kanack, the love of his life. While at Evinrude Bob teamed with Tom Ireland and Jeff Brown to capture a world title boat racing in APBA, OOC Mod-50.
Bob's career took him to OMC, Evinrude's parent company located in Waukegan, IL. While employed Bob earned an MBA from Lake Forest College. At OMC he successfully served 25 years in various managerial sales and marketing capacities. After retiring from OMC Bob worked in management for Yanmar Marine Diesel and Mack Boring.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara.
He is survived by brothers Michael (Chelsea, MI), James (Brighton, MI) and Tim (Columbus, OH), brother-in-law Tom Kanack (Milwaukee, WI) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bob was laid to rest next to his wife in a private graveside ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery Mequon, WI on April 10, 2018.
