The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Heaven Bolinger
Heaven Leigh Bolinger, 18, of Saint Marys, Ohio, died 3:05 P.M. Monday, April 23, 2018, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Route 33, east of Saint Marys.
She was born June 12, 1999, in Saint Marys, the daughter of Darrell Bolinger and Rachel Vogel. Her mother, Rachel Vogel Flora, survives in Saint Marys.
She is also survived by her infant son, Axel Stone Lyons of Saint Marys; by her step-father, Israel Flora, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; by her brother, Israel Flora, II of Saint Marys; a sister, Lilyan Bolinger of Saint Marys; by a family friend, Ben Carpenter of Saint Marys; by her step-grandmother, Donna Flora of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; by her maternal grandparents, John and Sue Vogel of Saint Marys. She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Bolinger; by her step-grandfather, Rick Flora; by her infant brother, Christian Flora.
Heaven was a 2017 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She had enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves, and was scheduled to leave for basic training in a few weeks. She planned on being a combat medic. She love music and singing, and had been a member of "Glitter and Gold" Show choir at Memorial High School. She liked to draw, and was a real "people person" with many, many friends.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Bill Maki, officiant.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Resource and Opportunity Center in Saint Marys.
