The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Francis Post
Francis W. Post age 72 of Wendelin passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at his home.
He was born on December 19, 1945 in Coldwater, Ohio to Lucille (Warvel) Post of Wendelin, and the late Sylvester Post. He is also survived by his brothers & sisters, David (Anita) Post of Celina, Nick (Veronica) Post of St. Henry, Duane Post of Greenville, Benita (Gary) Jenkinson of Ansonia, and Donna Post of St. Henry; sister-in-law Madonna Post of St. Henry; nieces and nephews; Emily Kindle, Clint (Diane) Post, Kay Post, Denise Post, Julia Post, and Ross Post, Vanessa (Deryl) Sawatsky, Janelle Myers, Greg Jenkinson, Tyrena (August) Anderson, Tyrell Post, Logan (Michelle) Post, Lacey (Mike) York, Ashley Ray, Jacob Ray and numerous great nieces and nephews. 
He is also preceded in death by a brother Dennis Post and a brother-in-law Jeff Ray.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, he graduated from St. Henry High School in 1964 and was drafted into the US military serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a retired dairy farmer raising Jerseys, then red and white Holsteins. He was also an avid reader and a great decision maker who stood his ground.   
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Wendelin Church. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry from 2 to 7 PM on Monday, and from 9 to 9:45 AM on Tuesday.
