The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Elise Kupper
Elise M. Kupper, age 65, of Celina, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born June 10, 1953 in Celina. Her mother, Adeline Dooley, is deceased.
Elise is survived by three children: Anna Foreman (Anthony Brenner), Greg Kupper, and Elizabeth Kupper, all of Celina, six grandchildren: Christopher James Moss, Anna Elise Moss, Robert Moss, Sara Moss, and Jonathon Moss, a great granddaughter, Aubri Kerns, and four brothers & sisters: Cynthia Dooley, Barb (Robert) Kuhn, Robert Dooley, and William (Jan) Muter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Rigali.
A 1972 graduate of Celina High School, Elise was employed at Mid-American Cleaning in Lima for 20 years, and worked in maintenance at the Celina Walmart for 5 years. Elise enjoyed playing games on the computer, and watching movies and television, particularly Matlock, CSI:Miami and ALF.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 14, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Jon Exman officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina. Calling Hours are 4:00 - 8:00 P.M., Monday, August 13, at the Funeral Home.
