The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Maurice Heckler
Maurice O. Heckler, age 82 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Wednesday Aug. 15, 2018 at the Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born the son of the late Peter J. and Rose H. (Weisman) Heckler in Celina, Ohio, Saturday, December 21, 1935. On April 4, 1959 he married Hannah Sunderhaus, who lives in Celina.
Also surviving are his children; David Heckler of Springfield, Ill., Donald Heckler of Celina, Debra (Kenneth) Heckler-Swann of Celina, three grandchildren; Kennedy Swann, Kelsey Swann, Paige Heckler, and his sister-in-law Phyllis Heckler of Celina and numerous nieces and nephews.
Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters-in-law; Edward (Esther) Heckler, Albert (Anna Rita) Heckler, Dale (Colleen) Heckler, Wayne Heckler, Carl (Mabel) Heckler, Earl "Tiny" (Mildred) Heckler and a sister & brother-in-law Rita (Alvin) Mestemaker.
Maurice graduated from Immaculate Conception High School with the Class of 1954. He retired from McKirnan Brothers Vending in Celina as a Manager.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, Knights of Columbus member Council #1800, member of V.F.W. Post #5713, member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #210 and a member of the Celina Moose Lodge #1473.
Maurice enjoyed watching his Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday Aug. 20, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Vince Wirtner C.PP.S. officiating. Burial followed in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Calling was Sunday Aug. 19, 2018 and today before prayers at 10 a.m. at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Knights of Columbus prayer service was held on Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund 229 W. Anthony St. Celina, Ohio 45822.
