The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dorothy Lininger
Dorothy "Dottie" Lininger, 73, of Saint Marys, died at 1:08 P.M. Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Saint Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born July 9, 1945, in Mercer County, the daughter of Julius and Erma (Harlett) Sutter. She married Bill Lininger, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her children: Michelle (Rob) Huebner of Wapakoneta; Dixie (Bill) Russell of Saint Marys; Kara (Cody) Sharp of Saint Marys. She is survived by her grandchildren: Uriah Cosgrove; Sarah (Brian) Fisher; Keshia (Chris) Hudson; Betsy (Joe) Holtzapple; Sabrina (Chris) Micco; Robbie Huebner; Chelsea Huebner; Jessica (Derrick) Storer; Zach (Brittney) Russell; Samuel Gage Russell; Tyler (Casey Albers) Sharp; Katelyn (Tyler Ackerman) Sharp; Jacob Sharp. She is also survived by her 17 great-grandchildren; by a sister, Mary Ann (Al) Saam of Cridersville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her siblings: George Sutter, John Sutter, Fred Sutter, Dianne Gaerke.
Dottie was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Saint Marys, and she sold Tupperware for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and making crafts, and she was a very active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, Father Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Private family burial rites will be held at Fort Recovery Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to the Friends of Holy Rosary School. Friends may also call from 9:00-9:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
