The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Patrick Jahnigen
Patrick C. Jahnigen, age 66, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 6:04 A.M. Monday, October 8, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born in Port Huron, Michigan July 13, 1952, to the late Clem Arthur and Fairel May (Stetler) Jahnigen.
Along with his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by a daughter, Stormy Lee Jahnigen and two siblings, Virginia Killingsworth and Ronnie Lee Jahnigen.
On October 16, 2010, after many years of being together, he married Linda Tudor and she survives. Patrick is also survived by his children, Andrea (Adam) Phillips, Sean Jahnigen, Cody (Krystal) Jahnigen, and Pierce Jahnigen; grandchildren, Alexandrea, Brandon, Connor, and Austin; a sister, Ginger Luth and many nieces and nephews.
Patrick loved fishing, throwing darts, and was a huge fan of all Pittsburg's professional teams. In his early years, he would enjoy throwing the Frisbee. All who knew and loved him will miss Patrick.
Per his wishes, Patrick will be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
