The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Doris Bollenbacher
Doris Jean Bollenbacher, 84, died on October 18, 2018, at Blanchard Valley Health System, Hospice Care, Findlay, Ohio. She had entered the hospital on her birthday this year.
Doris Jean was born October 6, 1934, in Chattanooga, Ohio (Mercer County), to Homer J. and Leota L. (Baker) Bollenbacher. She was preceded in death by her parents and by an infant brother Lyle in 1932.
Doris graduated from Rockford High School in 1952 as Salutatorian. During her 42 years while working at Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina, she lived directly across the street and never drove to work a single day. Doris had lived at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton, Ohio, for the past 7 years.
Doris is survived by a brother Duane (Deb), Bluffton, Ohio, a brother Leland (Sandie), Melrose, Florida, 7 nieces, 1 step-nephew, 18 great nephews and nieces, and 2 great-great nieces.
She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Chattanooga, Ohio. She had been an avid gardener and a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR. Doris enjoyed going to yard sales with her good friend of 35 years, Carl Davis.
The family wishes to thank the Mennonite Memorial Home and its staff for the wonderful caring support given to Doris.
The funeral service will be held at Cisco Funeral Home, 6921 State Route 703 E., Celina, Ohio, at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Chaplain Bill Herr of the Mennonite Memorial Home will officiate. Friends may call an hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
