The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Carolyn Bruns
Carolyn Bruns, age 71, of Celina, Ohio, died on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at her home.
She was born December 13, 1946 in Celina to the late Frederick & Dula (Schoenlein) Brand. On February 21, 1968 she married James E. Bruns and he died in 2012.
She is survived by two children Scott & Elaine Bruns of Maria Stein, and Stephanie & John Kremer of Montezuma, five grandchildren, Kevin, Ashley and Kyle Bruns, and David & Christian Kremer, siblings and in-laws, Jane Brand of Dayton, Joan & Merle Gaaskjolen of North Carolina, George & Marcia Brand of Dayton, Ivan & Linda Brand of Versailles, Rita & Mark Hoffman of Dayton, Damian & Deb Brand of Osgood, Diane & John Kahlig of Coldwater, Eddie & Judy Brand of Osgood, Kenny & Tina Brand of Versailles and Fred & Kristie Brand of Dayton, Kurt Jacobsen of Waynesville, Gerald & Sandy Bruns of Maria Stein, Marlene & Ron Tuente of Osgood, Shirley Hopple of Illinois, Ron Bruns and fiancée Teressa Kerns, Bonnie & Brian Dahlinghaus, and Pam & Jim Fleck, all of Maria Stein.
She is preceded in death by a sister Barbara Jacobsen and in laws Clarence & Velma (Heitkamp) Bruns.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Carolyn graduated from Marion Local High School in 1965 and retired from Reynolds & Reynolds in Celina and formerly worked at Stammen Insurance in St. Henry. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed working on her landscape.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Maria Stein.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 9 am until time of services.
Memorials may be made to the C.A.L.L. food pantry in Celina.
