The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mary Fiebelkorn
Mary Elizabeth Fiebelkorn, 91, of Saint Marys, died 11:15 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio.
She was born December 14, 1927, the daughter of Albert and Mathilda (Zahn) Reier. She married William Fiebelkorn on January 22, 1949; he preceded her in death on September 16, 1992.
She is survived her by granddaughter, Kim Storer of Saint Marys; by her grandchildren: Craig Storer and Tonya Storer; by her son-in-law, Steve Storer of Saint Marys. She is also survived by her brother, Al Reier of Glynnwood; her sister-in-law, Thelma Reier of Saint Marys; by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; by her daughter, Christine Storer; by her brother, Leonard Reier.
Mary was a 1947 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She retired after 40 years of service as an administrative assistant at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Saint Marys, and for many years she sold Avon Beauty products.
She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary 767, where she had served as secretary; she was an active member of the Holy Rosary Church Ladies' Sodality, a member of the Business and Professional Women. She loved to bowl and spent many winters in Palmetto, Florida.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, but most often attended Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Glynnwood.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Glynnwood, Father Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 2-5 P.M. Friday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys.
