CELINA - People might see a bearded lady in town, but she's not with the circus.
Women are invited to make realistic and creative beards and compete in the Love is in the Hair beard competition on Feb. 16 at Brew Nation in downtown Celina. This event is the third annual beard competition hosted by the Mercer County Facial Hair Club. [More]
ST. MARYS - St. Marys coach Jonathan Burke would prefer Lauren Cisco not drive to the cup for a shot while leading in crunch time.
Cisco did that on Thursday, though. She made the layup. And the bucket allowed St. Marys to finish off rival Celina for a 42-35 victory at Murotech Court.
MINSTER - Dialing in from long distance, Minster connected on 10 3-pointers and rolled to a 51-34 victory over New Knoxville Thursday night at Wildcat Gymnasium.
St. Henry took the lead for good in the third quarter and held off Fort Recovery for a 38-33 victory in MAC girls basketball action at Redskin Gymnasium.
