The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Patricia Litmer
Patricia P. Litmer, age 70, of Fort Recovery, died October 19, 2019 at her son's home in Celina. She was born June 19, 1949, in Union City, OH, to the late Cloyd and Norma (Poling) Erwin. On December 28, 1968, she married David Litmer, who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Laura (Steven) Slife of St. Marys, Joey (Sheila) Litmer of St. Marys, Bill (JoEllen) Litmer of Celina, Tony (Missy) Litmer of Wendelin, Tonya (Matthew) Moorman of Anna, and Theresa (Andy) Kremer of Coldwater; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn (David) Kruckenburg of Greenville.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Patrick "Peij" Erwin and Peggy Burkey.
Patricia was a graduate of Mississinawa Valley High School and a cosmetology school in Piqua. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, with Fr. Jim Smith as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
