The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Amy Middleton
Amy Jo Middleton, 48, Paw Paw, MI, passed away at 5:58 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI, following complication of surgery.
She was born on January 20, 1971, in Celina, OH, to the late Rolland and Judy (Ferguson) Priddy Evans, who survives.
On May 29, 1993, she married Raymond Middleton who survives with two children Devin and Ashlee Middleton at home.
She is survived by a brother Shawn Priddy of Middlepoint, OH.
Amy was a 1989 graduate of Parkway High School where she attended Vantage vocational school her junior and senior year.
She worked many years as a nurses' aide at Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford, and various nursing homes in Michigan. She recently received her associates degree for medical assistant, working for Home Sweet Home in Paw Paw.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Rockford.
No services will be held.
She loved her family and will be deeply missed.
