The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ramon Loera
Ramon S. Loera, age 83 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 12, 2020 at home with his family. He was born on December 20, 1936, in Brownsville, TX, an only child to the late Pablo and Genova (Sanchez) Loera. On October 18, 1965 he married Maria Nieto, who survives living in Celina.
He is also survived by his children Irma Loera, Diana (Eric Henning), Ramon Loera Jr., Jorge (Terri) Loera, Tony (Kambry) Loera, Jose "Joe" (Rochelle) Loera all of Celina, Juan Pablo "Paul" Loera of Findlay and Monica Loera of Celina. He is by survived by step child Juanita Loera of Matamoros, Tampico, and half children Isidra Loera of Austin, TX., Ramona Torres of Ft. Wayne, IN. and Fransica Loera of Matamoros, Tampico, a daughter-in-law Rachel Loera, 45 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Ramon was preceded in death by his parents and his step daughters Josephina (Fina) Loera.
He retired from New Idea in 1999. Ramon enjoyed gardening, listening to his Mexican music, dancing, and spending time with his family. He was a simple man with a big heart. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, a member of the Celina Eagles and a social member of the American Legion Post #210 in Celina.
Due to the national health concerns, the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home and the Loera Family are following directives outlined by the Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, limiting attendance to the visitation and funeral service to immediate family members only.
Private funeral services and a private family viewing, will be held at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund 229 W. Anthony St. Celina, Ohio 45822.
