The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Barbara Kill
Barbara Kay Kill, age 81, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford, Ohio.
She was born on October 30, 1938 in Spencerville, Ohio to the late Clayton and Frances (Wright) Hoch. On November 10, 1956 she married Carl Kill, surviving in Celina.
She is survived by her three children Carla (Rod) Hirschfeld of Celina, Eric (Donna) Kill of Cardington, Jennifer (Chad) Lucht of Pickerington, her six grandchildren Greg Hirschfeld, Megan Hirschfeld, Matthew Kill, Joshua Kill, Daniel Kill, Cameron Lucht, her sister Cheryl (Michael) Wright of Summerville, S.C. and her brother-in-law Richard Ashbaugh of Cridersville.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and sister Linda (Hoch) Ashbaugh.
She graduated from Spencerville High School with the class of 1956. She worked at the Ohio State Highway Patrol in St. Marys and Wapakoneta, as a dispatcher and retired after 25 years of service on December 31, 1998.
A visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Attendees are required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and follow the COVID-19 guidelines established by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health.
