The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ruth Roth
Ruth M. Roth, age 91, of Celina, passed away at 2:24 pm on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Celina Manor.
She was born July 7, 1929 in Fort Loramie, Ohio to the late John and Clara (Schulte) Bergman. On April 7, 1948 she married Ralph T. Roth and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2011.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas J. Roth, Celina and Gerald P. Roth, Rockford; a granddaughter, Andrea (Erik) Seiser, Kettering, Ohio; and two great grandsons, Nathan and Brady.
She is also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Urban (Tekla) Bergman, Lester (Norma) Bergman, Luella (George) Sommers, LeRoy (Rita) Bergman and Paul (Pat) Bergman.
Ruth retired after working her entire life as a nurse's aide and homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, taking care of her plants and loved her pet Corgi's. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 am, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S., officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:30 am-11:30 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at the visitation and funeral.
