Ernest Hunt
Ernest "E.J." Hunt, 48, of Coldwater, Ohio, died 5:10 A.M. Friday, March 5, 2021, at his residence, following a year long battle with brain cancer.
He was born March 10, 1972, in Saint Marys, the son of Ernest and Barbara (Compton) Hunt. He married Tammifur Roby on November 6, 1993; she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Hunt of Saint Marys; by his children: Tyler Hunt of Coldwater; Spencer (Madison) Hunt of Celina; Ciara (Louden) Limon of Celina. He is survived by 6 grandchildren: Zayden; Braxton; Caide; Nila; Cale and Wyatt; by his mother-in-law, Cheryl Opperman of Celina; his father-in-law, John Robinson of Van Wert.
He was preceded in death by his father.
E.J. was a 1992 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He was employed at Airstream Corporation in Jackson Center. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, races at Eldora, riding his Harley and smoking meat. Family was the most important thing to E.J.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
