The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Nerderman
Robert H. Nerderman, age 66, of St. Henry, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at The Gardens at St. Henry. He was born March 8, 1954 in Coldwater, to the late Herman & Rita (Post) Nerderman. On May 13, 1977 he married Linda (Elking) Nerderman and she survives in St. Henry.
Bob is also survived by children, Jeffery Nerderman of Beavercreek, Craig & Laura Nerderman of Justin, TX, and Brad & Joelle Nerderman of St. Henry, six grandchildren: Jaylin, Johnny, Elijah, Gracyn, Hayes, and Myron. Also surviving is his sister Ruth Nerderman, and in-laws: Marge & Jim Cogen, Ginny & Eric Bennett, Nick & Deb Elking, Frank & Barb Elking, Ron & Angie Elking, and Judy & Jason Pavolko.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by siblings Janet & Eugene Droesch, and Mary Ann & Gerald Rosenbeck.
Bob was a graduate of Ft. Recovery High School, Class of 1972. He went on to work at Midmark, B.J. Kaiser Trucking, and retired from St. Henry Tile. Bob was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, a member of the St. Henry EMS for years and had also drove school bus. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mass of Christian Burial following all CDC guidelines will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery. The family would like to receive friends but due to the COVID situation the viewing will be kept private at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
