The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Linda Hartings
Linda E. Hartings, age 72, of St. Henry, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at her home in St. Henry.
She was born February 22, 1949, to the late Alfred & Adella (Poeppelman) Hoying.
Linda is survived by her husband Richard Hartings, children: Cindy & Ron Rismiller of Yorkshire, Bob & Nicole Hartings of Houston, Chris & Erin Hartings of Ft. Recovery, Joyce & Shawn Uhlenhake of Superior, CO, and Gail & Jon Dwenger of Minster. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Jacob Rismiller, Megan Rismiller, Lauren Rismiller, and Ava Rismiller, Lexi Hartings, Trenton Hartings, Isabell Hartings, and Charlotte Hartings, Logan Uhlenhake, Calvin Uhlenhake, and Olivia Uhlenhake, and Madelyn Dwenger, Isaac Dwenger, and Clara Dwenger, as well as siblings, Ken Hoying of Duluth, GA, Jerry Hoying of Charlotte, NC, Kathy & Tom Maurer of Ft. Loramie, Paul & Leslie Hoying of Charlotte, NC, and Janet Hoying of Sidney.
Linda was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. She formerly worked at Reynolds and Reynolds, and Briarwood Manor, and she was the owner and operator of St. Henry Supply. Linda had a love for traveling. She really enjoyed going on local charter bus excursions and meeting new people. She also loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, July 2, 2021, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call 3:00-8:00pm on Thursday, July 1, and 9:00-10:00am on Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
