Jack Knapke

Marion Local

6-8 Sophomore Forward

12.1 PPG, 8.6 Rebounds, 56.5% shooting

Knapke, who made a few varsity appearances as a freshman, blossomed through the course of the 2021-22 season, going from a dependable big man for the Flyers to the go-to player on the offense.

With teammates like Jadyn Mescher and Brady Ronnebaum providing the outside game, Knapke ranked among the leaders in field goal percentage and rebounds while also leading the team in scoring in his first full season.

Knapke hit double-digit points in eight of the final 10 games, highlighted by a 23-point, 10-rebound night against St. Henry in Marion's 56-43 district semifinal win. In the regional semifinal loss to Antwerp, though he was held to four points, Knapke pulled down 16 of the Flyers' 29 rebounds.

For his efforts, Knapke earned all-MAC first team and all-district second team honors.
