The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Joseph Schneider
Joseph L. Schneider, age 77, of Coldwater, died July 8, 2022, at his home in Coldwater.
  He was born August 25, 1944 in Lima, Ohio, to the late Albert & Gladolia (George) Schneider. On August 1st, 1964 he married Diann Moorman at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, Ohio.
  She survives along with their children: Joe Jr. & Linda Schneider of Portland, Dan & Linda Schneider of St. Henry, Melissa & Toby Pinks of Celina, and Shawn & Tammy Schneider of Coldwater. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; mother in-law, Rosemary Moorman; siblings and in-laws: Richard Schneider of Missouri, John & Pat Moorman of Coldwater, Judy & Marc Nietfeld of Celina, Richard & Mary Moorman of Coldwater, Sharon & Marv Siefring of St. Henry, Lisa Lefeld & Kevin Schwieterman of Coldwater.
He was preceded in death by father-in-law, Edgar Moorman; great-grandson, Max; siblings and in-laws: Mary & Chuck Copeland, Joan & Tom Gardner, Harriet Schneider and Paul Lefeld Jr.
  Joe worked at the former Mersman Furniture plant in Celina and retired from the Crown Plant in New Bremen.
  Joe was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Joe was a part time local contractor in the surrounding areas.
  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 PM on Tuesday, and from 9 to 10AM on Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Donations may be made to EverHeart Hospice.
