The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

The grand champion market lamb shown by Mercer County Junior Cattlemen Association member Karlee Knapke, daughter of Chad and Andrea Knapke, sold for a record setting $4,575 to a group including Overman Trucking, K & L Tractor Sales & Service Inc, Kenn-Feld Group, St. Henry Tile Co., Cooper Farms, Burtch Seed Company, Farm Credit Mid-America, Celina Animal Hospital, Homestead Quality Livestock Bedding, Farmers Merchants State Bank, Hull Bros., Eiting Real Estate LLC, Knapke Cattle Company, A1 Ag Services LLC, Wabash Valley Electric, Snyder Livestock LLC, Seth & Amanda Kohnen Family, Bud's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Shroyer Show Stock, Wendel BBQ, KSA Enterprises, Hills Showstock, Big K Mill, Post Show Stock, Creekside Trucking and Lance Trailer Sales.
