The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

CELINA - After a tough loss to Wapakoneta earlier in the week, Celina girls soccer team hoped to clear up things on Saturday in playing Coldwater in a battle between Mercer County squads.
The Bulldogs scored their first goal 11 minutes into the match and cruised to a 5-0 win over the Cavaliers at the soccer stadium to improve to 8-5-1 on the season. The Cavaliers fall to 7-7-1. [More]

Converted camper is now a mobile coffee cart
NEW KNOXVILLE - Beechwood Coffee Co. is heading down the road, bringing its wide array of drinks to wherever the action is.
In the same vein of food trucks which have grown increasingly popular in the area, this mobile coffee cart travels to and sets up shop at special events.

Two anglers hoisted a fancy trophy after "winning" $30,000 in prize money at the recent Lake Erie Walleye Trail tournament. Before they cashed that check, a suspicious tourney director gutted their fish. He found 10 balls of lead.
