The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Lois Germann-Krick
Lois E. Germann-Krick age 92 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Miller Place in Celina.
She was born on September 27, 1930 in Celina, Ohio to the late Delbert & Helen (Rosengarten) Garwood. On Sept 6, 1947 She married her first husband Herbert Germann, who died Jan. 5, 1994 and on Oct. 14, 2000 she married Arthur Krick, who passed away on Mar. 18, 2007.
She is survived by her Son and daughter-in-law Terry (Gena) Germann of Celina, Deb Miller of Celina, four grandchildren Angie (George) Noonan, Lisa (Scott) Cluckey, Andy (Crystal) Germann, Nikki (Doug) Ritchie and eleven great grandchildren Grant, Jared, Zachary, Alivia Noonan, Alex, Carter Germann, Sydney (Donnie) Cosner, Alexander, Jeri Caroline Cluckey, Haley and Emily Ritchie. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Gale Hoffman of Celina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, infant daughter Kathy Germann and her son Jerry D. Germann, son-in-law Ronald Miller and her sister Doris Hoffman.
Lois graduated from Celina High School in 1948. She formerly worked at Nina's Dress Shop and retired from First Financial Bank after fifteen years of service. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina and very active with the Church Prayer Circle, The American Legion Auxiliary Post #210, A Life Member of the Celina Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary Post #5713, Celina Moose Lodge #1473 and the Celina Eagles Arie # 1291.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday Nov. 1, 2022 the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022 and an hour before her service on Tuesday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church.
