The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Merinus Wuebker
Merinus Bernard Wuebker, age 78, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
He was born June 7, 1944 in Celina, Ohio to Josephine (Rascowski) and William and Viola (Everman) Wuebker. On June 15, 1963 he married Judith Anne (Thomas) Wuebker and she died on May 30, 1988.
Merinus is survived by five children, Crystal Linder of Union City, Indiana, Dawn Schwieterman of Coldwater, Ohio, Ginger Wuebker of Dayton, Ohio, Bill & Maria Wuebker of Archbold, Ohio, and Heather Wuebker of Englewood, Ohio. Eleven grandchildren; Charity Linder, Zachary Linder, Candice & Herman Watson, Dustin & Casey Schwieterman, Chelsea & Tyler Kunk, Mackenzie Zullig, Josh Regedanz, Trevor Wuebker, Cody & Autumn Depweg, Trace Whitlow and Layla Whitlow; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings; Doris Shrader of Dayton, Ohio, Ruth & Larry Tangeman of New Bremen, Ohio, Bud & Alice Wuebker of Coldwater, Ohio, Carol Jones of Celina, Ohio, and Denny & Mary Kay Wuebker of Minster, Ohio; sister-in-law Kathy Wuebker of Fairfax, Virginia and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents; one daughter, Wendy Anne Depweg; son-in-law, Walter Linder; and siblings and in-laws, Larry Wuebker, Kay & Jerry Buening, Patricia Wuebker, Jim Shrader, Ed Jones, and Roberta Jean & Ed Thomas.
Merinus was a lifelong truck driver. He loved his family more than anything else. He also cherished his two little dogs, Chase and Annie. He was a social member of the Ft. Recovery VFW Post 6515 for many years. Merinus was once a driver at Eldora Speedway and huge fan of the World of Outlaws and NASCAR.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 10 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
