The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Treva Albers
Treva E. Albers, age 78 of Minster, Ohio, died on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born on April 18, 1944 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Frances & Mildred (Brandewie) Lallemand. She married Louis Albers on November 26, 1964 in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport. He survives in Minster.
She is also survived by children: Rick & Sherrie Albers, New Bremen, Shelly & Paul Heuker, Minster, Sheila & Ed Magoto, Ft. Loramie, grandchildren: Alyssa, Aric Albers, Jonathon Heuker, Alexis Magoto & fiancé Alec McMillan, Taylor & Eric Dahlinghaus, Faith Magoto, great grandchild Logan, sister Carol Otting, Minster, in-laws: Jim & Pat Albers, Minster, Jack Albers, Celina, Larry Albers, Minster and Marge & Mike Stricker, Minster.
She was preceded in death by a brother Dennis & Patricia Lallemand, Albert "Picket" Otting, Ronald Albers, Vicki Albers & Carolyn Albers.
Treva was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was on the Christmas Decorating Committee. She was a member of the Minster F.O.E. #1391 and volunteered at the Sidney Soup Kitchen. She enjoyed playing cards especially Texas Hold'em, her coffee group and visiting with former coworkers from Minster Machine. Treva especially loved spending time with her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Monday, November 28 from 4 to 7 PM and from 9 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilson Hospice.
