The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mark Triplett
Mark A. Triplett, 58, formerly of St. Marys, OH died unexpectedly November 24, 2022 at his residence in Dublin, OH.
He was born January 30, 1964 in St. Marys, OH to Irvin and Barbara (Wells) Triplett.
He is survived by: son Beau Triplett of Columbus, OH; daughter Anastasia (Shawn) Gerardi of Pickerington, OH; 4 grandchildren: Jasmine, Melanie, Jacob and Mason; brother Keith Triplett of Wapakoneta, OH; brother Rex Triplett of Ocala, FL; sister Vanessa (Tim) Dudley of Plymouth, IN; sister Greta (Bob) Arnett of Celina, OH; a large extended family which includes aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: father Irvin Triplett; mother Barbara Triplett-Schnell; brother Donald Triplett; step-mother Linda Ritchie; step-father Jim Schnell.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1982). There he was most proud of his time wrestling and playing football. He remains close friends with many that he grew up with including the four musketeers: Eddie Backs, Ed Frilling, and Kenny Schaefer. He retired from Honda of America in Marysville, OH.
Mark will be remembered as the prankster, hard-working and fun-loving. He was an enthusiastic sports fan who loved cheering first for his family and of course then for the Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys. His laughter was known to fill the room and spread contagiously. There was no stranger known to Mark. He would lift the spirits of those around him and was a friend to all. He loved cooking and was known to be the "grill-master"! The most precious things to him in this world were his children and grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 3, 2022 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
Visitation is open 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday and 10 - 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
