The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Beverly Donovan
Beverly "Bev" C.F. Donovan, 81, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio.
She was born September 7, 1941 in Auglaize County to the late Wilbert and Ethel (Ahlers) Sudman. She married Harold Donovan and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2015.
Survivors include two sons, Randy (Diane) Donovan, Celina and Terry (Connie) Donovan, Celina; two brothers, Kenneth (Regina) Sudman, St. Marys and Lee (Patty) Sudman, St. Marys; five grandchildren, Eric Donovan, Dublin, Kayla (Wes) Chapman, Celina, Tracy Donovan, Columbus, Kari (Cole) Flaute, Columbus and Maria (Jared) Bailey, Vandalia; and six great grandchildren, Addalyn Chapman, Talon Donovan, Abram Chapman, Breck Donovan, Braegan Chapman and Brinnly Chapman.
Bev was a 1959 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She retired from Workflow One in Coldwater after many years of service. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed all activities involving her children and grandchildren, especially sporting events. She particularly enjoyed watching hockey and IU Basketball. Bev and her husband Harold together loved drag cars and late models.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with Rev. Allen Sudmann officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
