The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mary Ann Winner
Mary Ann Winner, age 80 of Fort Loramie, Ohio, died at 6:45 PM on Wednesday, June 21, at Fair Haven Shelby County Sidney, Ohio.
She was born on September 9, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Raymond & Catherine (Paulus) Magoto.
She is survived by children: Keith & Cindy Winner, John & Beth Winner, Mark & Christy Winner, Matt & Melanie Winner, Ron & Linda Winner, Christina & Matt McClure, 19 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren, siblings: Jerome Hughes, and Mary Louise Dale.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Edward Hughes, Jr, and Linda Hughes.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie. The burial will take place at a later date.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:00 AM on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A.J. Wise Library, Ft. Loramie and A.J. Stallo Library, Minster.
