The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Donald Wolters
Donald Urban Wolters, age 87 of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born on July 16, 1936 to the late Gregor and Mary (Rosenbeck) Wolters in Celina. He married Susan J. Stauffer May 25, 1963 and she survives in Celina.
He is also survived by his children Doug (Karen) Wolters of Celina, Kent (Lynn) Wolters of Tipp City, John Wolters of Celina, four grandchildren Nicole (Justin) Lefeld, Kristen (Adam Ratliff) Wolters, Blake (Erica) Smelser, Lauren Wolters, three great grandchildren Leah, Megan, Logan Lefeld, brothers Dennis (Ann) Wolters of Dayton, Bill (Cathy) Wolters of Celina, and sisters-in-law Linda Linton of Celina and Mary Catherine Wolters of Chandler, AZ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert Wolters, Charles Wolters, brother-in-law David Linton, and father and mother-in-law Vernon "Woody" and Katherine Woodruff.
Donald graduated from St. John's High School in Maria Stein with the class of 1954. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1958. He was formerly employed at New Idea in the office and Chickasaw Hardware Store and he retired in 1998. He was a member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society, former Franklin Township trustee, life member of the V.F.W. Post #9019 in Chickasaw, Celina Moose, and former trustee of the New Bremen Senior Citizens.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the St. Sebastian Catholic Church, with Fr. Mark Hoying C.P.P.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Sebastian Cemetery, with Military Honors.
Friends and family may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023 and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
