The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Rutschilling
Robert V. Rutschilling, age 64, of Coldwater, died Monday, December 11, 2023 in Lima.
He was born October 5, 1959 in Neptune to the late Vincent & Anna Rita (Bruns) Rutschilling.
He is survived by three sons Adam Rutschilling of Greenville, Bernard Rutschilling of Dayton and Aaron Rutschilling of Greenville; sisters Phyllis Doll of Coldwater and Linda (Ken) Woeste of Celina.
He is also preceded in death by a brother-in-law Robert Doll.
Bob worked at Totally Promotional in Coldwater. He co-founded the Thanks to the Yanks program locally, did sound for the community picnic, DJ for many weddings and served on the MD Committee for many years. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan, Go Bengals! Bob was a good father, brother, and friend to many.
Funeral service will be held at 3 pm Monday December 18, 2023, with visitation from noon until time of service at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
