The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Garry Wuebker
Garry Lee Wuebker was born in Coldwater, Ohio on July 21, 1955 and passed away at his home on May 23, 2026.
He was the son of late Urban and Luella Wuebker.
Left to cherish his memory is loving wife, Judi Wuebker, two stepsons, Jon and Gage. Also left behind are his loving brothers and sisters, Marge (Paul) Steinke, Richard (Trish) Wuebker, Karen Calhoun, Nancy Kremer, and Mark Wuebker.
Preceded in death include brother, Larry Wuebker, sister, Ginny Kaup, sister, Mary Beth Minnich, and sister, Lori Brunswick.
Garry spent most of his life in Southern California as a construction inspector and engraving machine repairman, before retiring back to Ohio.
Garry enjoyed hunting, the ocean, spending time with his dogs, and following his sports teams, The San Francisco 49ers & Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Lakers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Coldwater Cavaliers.
Both Garry and Judi loved Jesus and accepted him as their savior many years ago.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Judi, and his surviving brothers and sisters.
No services will be held at this time.
