The Planning Commission of the City of Celina will hold a public meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in the Celina Administration Building, 225 N. Main Street (second floor Council Chambers). The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.

The second item is a request from Karri Gray (agent) for Christopher Mohler and Dancie Moore. They are requesting an easement on lot 179 and 169 be vacated. Zoning is R-1.

For the use of the Mercer County Engineer, City of Celina & Village of Coldwater.

The Board of Commissioners of Mercer County, Ohio will accept sealed bids in accordance with Section 307.86 of the Ohio Revised Code on the following item:

ROAD DE-ICING SALT

2026-2027 WINTER SEASON

Sealed bids will be received by the Board until 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, on July 23, 2026, in the office of the Mercer County Commissioners located at 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, OH, 45822 for supplying the above item for the use of the Mercer County Engineer, the City of Celina and the Village of Coldwater. Sealed bids shall be in writing.

Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Mercer County Engineer, 4884 Mud Pike, Celina, Ohio 45822. 

This Contract will be in effect from the award of the bid until no later than April 30, 2027.

Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, July 23, 2026, in the Office of the Mercer County Commissioners.

The Board of Commissioners of Mercer County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities when the same are to the advantage of the County.

2027 TAX BUDGET HEARING

A public hearing for the 2027 Tax Budget for all funds of the City of Celina will be held on July 13, 2026, in the City Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. The residents of the City of Celina are invited to provide written or oral comments and ask questions concerning the entire budget for 2027.

Any written comments may be sent to the President of Council, 225 N. Main St., Celina, OH 45822.

The entire budget will be available for public inspection at the City Auditor's office, 225 N. Main St., of City Administration Building, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays.

The Franklin Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing to consider the application for a Variance Request on the 20th day of July, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Township House, 6805 St. Rt. 219, Celina. The application, submitted by Jason Kremer, requests a Variance in the set-back requirements for the property located at 7982 County Rd. 219A, Celina, OH 45822.

Section 1127:17 of the Zoning Code requires a Minimum front yard set-back of 75', a rear yard set-back of 60', and a side yard set-back of 50'. The applicant is requesting a Variance of 45' in the rear yard set-back and a Variance of 35' in the side yard set-back for the construction a 80'x100' tool shed for farm equipment storage and the placement of two 48' grain bins for grain storage.
