The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Bessie Regedanz
Bessie S. Regedanz, 88, 1311 Frahm Pike, Celina, died the morning of Aug. 31, 2006, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Oct. 24, 1917, in Liberty Township, to Philip J. and Emma E. Fahncke Brehm. On March 31, 1951, she married Walter C. Regedanz, who died Dec. 20, 1976.
Survivors are a son, Dale (Kathy), Celina; a daughter, June (Jim), McGrail, Jefferson City, Mo.; two grandsons and a greatgrandson.
Deceased is a sister, Marie L. Maurer.
She was a homemaker and family farmer. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and Luther League. She was a former Sunday school teacher and attended St. John Lutheran Church, Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Rev. Randall Swanson officiating. Burial is at Buck Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice or to the church.
